Enjoy an evening of Gilbert and Sullivan with The Hull Savoyards at The Civic Hall, Cottingham on Saturday 1st December 2012 and at The Freedom Centre, Preston Road, Hull on 8th december 2012. Both concerts commnec at 7.30 pm and Tickets are £6.00 at the door.

The concert will be performed by The Major General, a Captain and his gallant crew, pirates and policemen, the Mikado, Princess Ida and Mad Margaret with supporting chorus who will provide an evening of wonderful music and pleasant wit.

William S Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan created fanciful topsy turvy worlds, where each absurdity is taken to its logical conclusion - fairies rub elbows with English lords, flirting is a capital offense, gondoliers ascend to the monachy and pirates turn out to be noblemen who have gone wrong.

Enjoy an evening full of satirical laughs and wonderful music.
